  3. Tap Install on Gramedia Digital Newsstand

How to Purchase Book, Magazine, Newspaper

  1. Make sure Gramedia Digital is installed in your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. Installation steps can be found here
  2. Login to ebooks.gramedia.com by using your Gramedia Digital account. (make sure that you use the same Gramedia Digital ID both in webstore and your device)
  3. Go to the search bar to find items.
  4. Click the item's cover to see detail information of the item
  5. Click Add To Cart, then proceed to Checkout
  6. Confirm that you have either iOS or Android device, and choose purchase method.
  7. Confirm your order. Click "Pay Now" to continue.
  8. After the payment is succeeded, click "Send Now" to send the item to your device.

Android

  1. Install Gramedia Digital in your Android device
  2. Open Gramedia Digital
  3. Login by using your Gramedia Digital account
  4. Go to "Store", or to the search bar to find items
  5. Click "Purchase" to buy items
  6. Choose payment method
  7. Confirm your order. Click "Pay Now" to continue
  8. All purchased items can be found in "Cloud"
  9. Wait for the transaction to be completed. You can read any recent purchase in "Device"

  3. Login by using your Gramedia Digital account

Subscription and Auto Renewal

Magazine

  1. Subscribe for magazine to automatically get your favorite magazine periodically.
  2. Choose any magazine that has subscription service, and pick one subscription plan.
  3. The magazine will be delivered automatically within the subscription period.

Newspaper

  1. Subscribe for newspaper to get your favorite newspaper delivered periodically.
  2. Choose any newspaper you wish to subscribe.
  3. The newspaper will be automatically delivered within the subscription period.
  4. You cannot purchase backdate edition.
  5. Newspaper is only available for subscription service. You cannot pay per item.

Automatic Renewal

Automatic Renewal

You can only activate Auto Renewal service only if you are using iOS devices. Auto Renewal service can be acessed through settings.

Automatic Renewal can only be used by iOS users, because the feature is provided by Apple iTunes.

Stop Automatic Renewal

To cancel Auto Renewal:

PC / Laptop by iTunes

  1. Open iTunes from PC / Laptop.
  2. Log in to your iTunes Account or your Apple ID - Click “Sign In” at the right corner.
  3. Move the cursor to "iTunes Anda" or "Apple ID" Click “Account” at the drop-down menu.
  4. Click “Setting”.
  5. Find “Subscription” and click “Manage”.
  6. Find “Auto-Renewal” dan click “Off”.
  7. Click “Done” to proceed.

From Device (iPad / iPhone)

  1. Open “App Store”.
  2. Scroll to the bottom to find "Apple ID".
  3. Click "Apple ID".
  4. Click “View Apple ID”.
  5. Find “Subscription” and tap “Manage”.
  6. Find “Auto-Renewal” and tap “Off”.
  7. Confirmation dialog will be shown. Tap "Stop".
  8. Tap “Done”.

  1. Login by using your Gramedia Digital account.
  2. All purchased items will be shown in Cloud or you can also find them via Search bar.
  3. Tap "Download", wait until the download is finished.

Bundling packages can be purchased through Gramedia Digital website or store.kompas.id. You must have an account on one of the platforms first.

  1. How to purchase the "Full Premium Package x Kompas Digital Premium" bundle through the website and the Gramedia Digital apps (iOS & Android):
    • Make sure you are logged in to http://ebooks.gramedia.com/ or Gramedia Digital apps (Android & iOS).
    • Click Gramedia Digital x Kompas.id bundling banner.
    • Select the package: 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months subscription.
    • After choosing a package, enter the cart then make a payment.
    • The customer has now actively subscribed to the Gramedia Digital x Kompas.id bundling package.

After purchasing, how to integrate the account?

You must link your account (either from Kompas.id or Gramedia Digital). If the account link is successful, the account will be automatically linked and can be used on both platforms.

  1. Purchase at Gramedia Digital, the account link through Kompas.id:
    • After a successful transaction on the Gramedia Digital website/apps, activate your Kompas Digital Premium subscription by connecting your account through the site klik.kompas.id/linkgd.
    • After the site opens, log in to Kompas.id if you already have an account.
    • If you don't have an account, register by selecting the "Please register" link.
    • After successfully logging in or registering, the "Connect a Gramedia Digital account" will be shown on screen. Type the e-mail address that you use in the Gramedia Digital apps.
    • If successful, you can use your account at Kompas.id to read premium content and ePaper through the Kompas.id website or application.
  2. Purchase at Kompas.id, the account link via Gramedia Digital:
    • After a successful transaction on the Kompas.id website, connect your account through the ebooks.gramedia.com site or Gramedia Digital Android/iOS application. To connect, you need to log in (if you already have an account) or register (if you don't already have an account) on the Gramedia Digital website/application.
    • If you log in at the website, open the account settings on the "account settings" page then select "linked account"
    • If you log in at the application, click "user profile", type your Kompas.id user and password, then tap "log in".
    • If successful, a checkmark will appear next to the linked account menu.
    • Your Kompas.id account is already connected and your premium package at Gramedia Digital will be activated automatically.

How do I access my subscription package?

If it is integrated, the account can be used in the Gramedia Digital and Kompas.id applications and the user subscription package is automatically activated. Users can download the Kompas.id and Gramedia Digital apps and log in with the same account. Users can read ePaper Kompas in both applications.

Kompas Digital Premium subscription period will start, after your payment at outlet.kompas.id is verified. To access your subscription in the Gramedia Digital application, first you need to integrate the account/link account. How to integrate this account can be read in the previous point.
